We had a fantastic stay at La Cantera! It was a perfect getaway to celebrate a birthday surprise. The owners went above and beyond by decorating the room and even making a cake. The property was fresh and clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and we loved having a hot tub to relax in. The Google device was a great touch for playing music, and the view was absolutely stunning. The outside area had so much to offer, even though we couldn't take full advantage of it due to the weather. a modern, clean, and enjoyable experience. We would definitely stay here again.

Unbeatable location near the red lion pub which was recommended by the owner, everything perfect...

Wanted to see Merthyr Tydfil popular places and this apartment was ideal base for exploring most of them. A microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge etc were provided.

Nothing negative to say. It exceeded all expectations.

The host was always available and the place is situated in a peaceful area close to a recommended local pub.

I recently stayed at La Cantera during my travels and I must say, it was the perfect choice for a transit stay. The nearest airport, located just 57 km away, made it incredibly convenient for me to catch my connecting flight. the accommodation itself was truly beautiful. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall aesthetic of the place.

While my stay at La Cantera was mostly perfect, there was one minor issue that could have been improved. I would have appreciated having an extra towel or robe specifically for hot tub use.

The hot tub water wasn't the cleanest and the chlorine was too strong, making our eyes burn. It would have been nice to have an extra towel or robe for the hot tub, as well as antibacterial wipes for the kitchen.
